Introduction

Why await until Oct? Cartoon supernatural characters is e'er fun! Today I'll show y'all how to draw cute ghosts.

Tutorial

When drawing the base character for your Ghost you can go on your cartoon style relatively the same. In this drawing I incorperated finger guns to reference the ofttimes outstretched easily of drawing ghosts.
While cartoon your character though, there are some things to keep in listen

The get-go is to keep a relatively Monotone color pallete. The colors should be very cool tone. Regardless of skin tone, at that place should be a hint of grey into the skin and the hue should be slightly cooler than usual.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if your character has blush, use a light blue colour on a multiply layer on top of the skin.
If you lot apply warm blush, the graphic symbol will await too alive for a ghost.
Y'all can download the color set here:

The last thing to keep in mind is to use blue line art on a multiply layer. Blue line art not merely keeps up the monotone await of the drawing simply tin can make the character look less solid than if you use black. If solid, living characters besides have colored lines, I suggest the use of even lighter blue. In the example below, I used lines just night enough that allows you to make out the details of the drawing without very detailed shading.

The terminal way to brand your character more like a ghost is to lower the opacity on certain areas of the drawing. These areas should be by and large places where the body ends; Tips of fingers, ends of limbs, such as the bottom of legs or where the role of body shown is cut off.

An alternative to lowering the opacity of these areas is making them white/blue and sparkling slightly.

If an area you are making transparent is overlapping something, select it first. Other than that, all yous need to do is use a large soft eraser brush to create a gradient.
If you are doing the white and sparkly method, do the aforementioned thing except with a white airbrush on a clipping mask over the coloring/shading. add glitter using the upshot brush.

All Done!
